TestFlight
Test the next version first
chordlist is on the App Store, and the next version is already in TestFlight. Join the public beta to try new features before they ship, and tell us what works and what does not.
Free, for iPhone and iPad on iOS 26 or later. Needs Apple's TestFlight app. Prefer the release version? Get it on the App Store.

How to join
- Install Apple's TestFlight app from the App Store on the iPhone or iPad you want to test on.
- Open the beta link on that device, then tap
AcceptandInstallin TestFlight. - The beta replaces the App Store version on that device. Your songs stay where they are: they are files in your songs folder, not inside the app.
What to expect
- Beta builds are unfinished, so expect rough edges. If you rely on your library, keep a copy of the songs folder — that is the whole backup.
- TestFlight tells you when a new build is ready. Each build stops working 90 days after it was uploaded, so keep updating.
- In-app purchases in a beta build use Apple's test environment: you are not charged, and nothing unlocked there carries over to the App Store version.
Sending feedback
Take a screenshot while using the beta and TestFlight offers to send it with a note and your device details. If the app crashes, TestFlight asks whether to share the crash report — please say yes.
For anything longer, Settings → Send Feedback in chordlist opens an email to feedback@chordlist.app with your app and iOS versions already filled in.
Leaving the beta
Open the TestFlight app, choose chordlist, and tap Stop Testing. Then install chordlist from the App Store to go back to the release version.
